La madre dell'uomo, perï¿½, sopprime il marziano, accusa la contadina di truffa e spedisce il figlio in manicomio. In questo modo tutti i protagonisti della vicenda sono accusati di essere dei visionari ed il sensazionale avvenimento viene ben presto sepolto nell'indifferenza generale.
