Baywatch: Newmie and Alex are spending a lot of time together riding SeaDoos, go scuba diving and stuff like that. Newmie is convinced that Alex�s got the hots for him and plans to make a move on her. He tells Mitch about it, but Mitch tells him that it can�t be true. When Newmie invites Alex to join him for dinner on the beach, Mitch tells her what Newmie is really after. Alex can�t believe it when Mitch tells her about Newmie�s intentions. Alex tries to talk some sense into Newmie but he keeps interrupting her all the time. When Newmie finally goes to check on the food that is being prepared by Armond, Alex calls Mitch and tells him to come to the beach and join them for dinner. Later Newmie returns and Alex can not believe her eyes when she finds out that Newmie is wearing a toupee. Finally, Alex spots Mitch fishing by the water. Alex wants him to join them for dinner while Newmie wants him to leave. Mitch ends up staying on the beach and Alex has to tell Newmie about her feelings. She tells him that she just wants to be his friend. Newmie agrees with her and then suddenly Mitch�s fishing line swings over and yanks Newmie�s toupee. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Girls competition is being held on Redondo Beach. April and Jessie both volunteer to try and find a celebrity host for the competition. While walking down the beach, they find George Hamilton sitting in a chair. They are convinced they have found their celebrity host. But he tells them that his name is Earl and that he just looks like George Hamilton. April and Jessie are still convinced that they have found George Hamilton and decide to play along. Later Earl meets them again, now with his demands. He wants to be treated as the star he is. April and Jessie agree to this, he is after all George Hamilton. During the Galaxy Girls competition, the real George Hamilton suddenly arrive and Jessie and April are shocked to discover that the man on stage really is a man named Earl. Everyone then starts chasing Earl down the beach. Meanwhile, Newmie appears in a TV production about lifeguarding. The director can never remember his name and he isn�t very happy about his job and hires a celebrity named Chuckie Dogg. But it turns out that Chuckie can�t swim. Newmie gets to keep the job until the director gets his hands on Earl. Then Newmie is fired for good. Also, Manny returns to Baywatch to clean out his locker. Alex and Mitch offers him a job in the switch board, but instead of accepting their offer, Manny gets upset and tells them that if he can�t be a real lifeguard, he doesn�t want to stay at Baywatch. Later Manny decides to give the switchboard a try after all. But he can�t get it to work right and when Mitch tells him that it takes some time to learn it, Manny storms out of headquarters. Mitch pays him a visit at the hospital and tells him that he has to start taking care of his life and not throw it away. Later Manny returns to Mitch with his job application. He agrees to take the job in the switch board if he can replace the switch board with computers instead. He will also place cameras on towers and by doing so, Manny will be able to see the danger, the lifeguards' doesn�t see. Mitch thinks it�s a great idea but perhaps a bit too expensive. Then Manny just tells him that IBM gives them the merchandise they need. They see it as a test. When Mitch finds out about this, he hires Manny and with the help of the cameras, Manny helps the lifeguards with all kinds of stuff.
