Persona 4: The Animation: As a result of his parents moving abroad, YÅ« Narukami moves to the countryside to live with his uncle, Ryotaro Dojima, and his daughter Nanako. On the day he starts out at Yasogami High School, where he makes friends with Chie Satonaka and Yosuke Hanamura, another student, Saki Konishi, witnesses a television celebrity murdered on a roof. The next night, as Yu hears about The Midnight Channel, a strange channel that can be seen on Rainy Nights, he spots Saki on the television. The next day as Yu, Chie and Yosuke visit an electronics store, they somehow go through one of the televisions and enter a strange foggy realm. There, they encounter a strange bear who gives Yu a pair of glasses before a group of monsters known as Shadows appear. Just as the group are pinned down, Yu feels a strange power within him and summons forth a 'Persona' to defeat the Shadows.
